\nThese words rang out from the voices in the
\nTynong procession close to thirty times on Sunday, demonstrating a firm belief
\nin Our Lord\u2019s sovereignty even in today\u2019s atheistic world.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>And God, Who is not to be outdone in
\ngenerosity, saw that the rainclouds – which looked threatening all morning –
\nstayed in abeyance, thus permitting a beautiful outdoor procession from Corpus
\nChristi Church to our little Rosary Convent!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\nWe were living in a state of relative
\napprehension overnight and for most of the morning, wondering what the fickle
\nMelbourne weather would do, for the Sisters had worked together like bees in a
\nhive to get the Benediction Altar ready.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\nUnder the artistic direction of our very
\ntalented postulant, Beatriz, we bundled greenery, picked out flowers, cut up
\ntwine, tied dozens of knots, re-did knots, pulled out greenery and basically
\nwere in a frenzy of activity (while maintaining proper religious decorum, of
\ncourse) that looked something like this:<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nThe only thing remaining was to see if the
\nwind and\/or rain would take it all to pieces before the procession got there.
\nHappily, it didn\u2019t, and we had the delight of seeing Our Blessed Lord enthroned
\nfor a short while outside our Convent amidst the setting we had prepared.<\/span><\/span> <\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\nMay Sunday\u2019s efforts be a symbol of what we aim
\nto do in our spiritual lives: to prepare a fitting place in our hearts to
\nwelcome Him Who reigns over us, to keep trying even if rainclouds and strong
\nwinds are threatening our horizons, and to always maintain hope and trust in
\nGod, which is never ever betrayed.<\/span><\/div>\n
